Acupuncture prompts your own body’s inner healing intelligence to restore balance.

RAW practitioners offer 1-1 sessions, where we work in partnership with you through mindfully tailored treatment plans according to your needs and goals with the tools and specialities available to each of us.

Learn more about us at the Team page and book your Initial Consultation + Treatment to create a treatment plan to help you reach your health and wellness goals.

  • Focused on only YOU, our practitioners offer 1-1 acupuncture sessions, where we work in partnership with you through mindfully tailored treatment plans according to your needs and goals.

  • The treatment plan is custom tailored to your needs and goals, and will have flexibility of each treatment to address anything else that might have come up. Additionally, your practitioner’s attention will be yours during the duration of your extensive treatments.

  • During your initial consultation, your practitioner will go into as much detail as required of every step of the treatment plan, and treatments themselves for you to feel safe and comfortable.

  • Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing that will allow you to fully submerge into the treatments and fully relax.
It is advisable that you have eaten a few hours before your treatment and that you are adequately hydrated. Low blood sugar and/or dehydration increase the chances of feeling light headed after the treatment.

counselling & Psychotherapy

At RAW, we whole-heartedly believe in the mind-body connection for true embodied wellness. Ana is our in-house Canadian Certified Counsellor, who is on route to becoming a provincially Registered Psychologist in Alberta.

Ana helps clients explore existential questions, find purpose and meaning, and cultivate an authentic and fulfilling life path. She highly passionate about the research on gut health, and how it affects our entire bodies - including our brains and mental health. Her approach combines psychotherapy + Gut health.

Ana pulls from this research in your sessions with her, and together you can explore how your diet, sleep, exercise, and stress levels may be impacting your mental health via the gut microbiome and gut-brain axis.

  • I believe in a multi-pronged approach to mental health, based on the fact that your brain is an organ, constantly communicating with the rest of your body! When you learn to tune into the physical and physiological messages your body sends you, you will have a better handle on what both your brain and body need for optimal wellness.

Our brains are part and parcel of our bodies, not separate entities. By taking care of our bodies, we take of our brains, and vice versa. My approach is grounded in the latest research on the role of gut-health for mental health, the role of inflammation in mental health conditions, and the ways in which mental health can be improved via lifestyle practices.

In our sessions, we look at all aspects of your life that may be impacting your mental health, giving you multiple avenues for positive change and growth - and tons of tools in your toolkit.

  • Anxiety

    Perfectionism

    Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

    Attachment + Relationships

    Finding Purpose and Meaning

    Healthy Lifestyle + Wellbeing

  • Anxiety

So many things can cause anxiety - relationships, trauma, an overactive stress-response, etc! We can explore anxiety from a number of angles - looking at physical, environmental, and psychological factors affecting you. There are tons of tools in the toolkit for helping anxiety!

    Perfectionism

As a former bonafide perfectionist, I know first-hand how exhausting perfectionism is, and the ways it can negatively impact physical and mental health. Let’s get to the bottom of the thoughts, beliefs, and pressures keeping you stuck in the never ending cycle of chasing perfection. Spoiler: it doesn’t exist!

    Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

In working with OCD, I utilize cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and integrative lifestyle approaches to calming the nervous system.

    Attachment + Relationships

Relationships - both to ourselves and to others - can be tricky. Let’s navigate together.

I take an attachment-focused lens on relationship concerns. We will explore attachment styles learned in childhood, based on the patterns in our families of origin, and our experiences growing up.

    Finding Purpose and Meaning

We all get a little lost sometimes. Together, we can explore the areas you feel stuck or out of alignment. I would be honoured to assist you in discovering what makes you tick and your unique vision for life! We can make a tangible, realistic plan to start building positive change.

    Healthy Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Feeling a bit “bleh”? Mental health is as much about physical health as it is about our thoughts. We can explore lifestyle factors that may help you increase your sense of vitality, well-being, energy, and motivation - including diet, exercise, and stress-management.

Dao meets dharma - yoga coaching + TCM

RAW is a sanctuary dedicated to the profound connection between the body and its vital energy. Integrating the somatic practice of Yoga with the diagnostic wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a vital conversation between movement and healing. Here, wellness transcends the mere absence of illness. It is the active, vibrant, and unobstructed flow of your vital force—known as Prana in Yoga and Qi in TCM.

  • Sabina’s yoga coaching is rooted in the belief that movement should nourish, not deplete. Her approach blends gentle, intentional yoga with breathwork and nervous system support to help clients feel grounded, restored, and more connected to their bodies. Drawing from her own journey as a yoga teacher and acupuncturist, she focuses on practices that feel realistic, supportive, and sustainable in everyday life. She is also an experienced advanced yoga teacher, comfortable holding space for a range of levels, including yogis who want to deepen and elevate their practice.

  • This style of coaching is ideal for anyone feeling stressed, burnt out, or disconnected from their body, as well as those navigating adrenal fatigue, menopause, or other times of transition. It can also be especially helpful for clients who want a softer, more restorative approach to yoga, or for yogis looking to elevate their practice with more awareness, refinement, and support.

Group Retreats

“Our nervous systems are not self contained’

In the Buddhist tradition it is said “Seek the Buddha (the state of enlightenment), seek the Dharma (the teachings that lead to liberation), and seek the Sangha (the community of seekers on the path).” Just as we cannot become enlightened alone, we cannot heal alone. We are meant to heal in community.  Our need for one another is both our greatest vulnerability and our greatest strength.

Much of healing occurs in community, in relationships in a safe space. Being in the presence of others in a compassionate setting reminds us that we may be on our journeys but not alone.

  • Customized short, sweet and intimate group retreats for up to groups of 5. Modalities offered at these retreats include acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, sound/vibrational therapy, LED light therapy, yoga, meditation, hypnotherapy, tarot card readings, and somatic exercises.
