counselling & Psychotherapy

At RAW, we whole-heartedly believe in the mind-body connection for true embodied wellness. Ana is our in-house Canadian Certified Counsellor, who is on route to becoming a provincially Registered Psychologist in Alberta.

Ana helps clients explore existential questions, find purpose and meaning, and cultivate an authentic and fulfilling life path. She highly passionate about the research on gut health, and how it affects our entire bodies - including our brains and mental health. Her approach combines psychotherapy + Gut health.

Ana pulls from this research in your sessions with her, and together you can explore how your diet, sleep, exercise, and stress levels may be impacting your mental health via the gut microbiome and gut-brain axis.

Dao meets dharma - yoga coaching + TCM

RAW is a sanctuary dedicated to the profound connection between the body and its vital energy. Integrating the somatic practice of Yoga with the diagnostic wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a vital conversation between movement and healing. Here, wellness transcends the mere absence of illness. It is the active, vibrant, and unobstructed flow of your vital force—known as Prana in Yoga and Qi in TCM.

Group Retreats

“Our nervous systems are not self contained’

In the Buddhist tradition it is said “Seek the Buddha (the state of enlightenment), seek the Dharma (the teachings that lead to liberation), and seek the Sangha (the community of seekers on the path).” Just as we cannot become enlightened alone, we cannot heal alone. We are meant to heal in community.  Our need for one another is both our greatest vulnerability and our greatest strength.

Much of healing occurs in community, in relationships in a safe space. Being in the presence of others in a compassionate setting reminds us that we may be on our journeys but not alone.
